I live in Deen Dayal Nagar at Gwalior which was once described as the largest & best colony in Madhya Pradesh. I dont know is it still called largest or not, but it is one of the worst colonies. Roads - dhoondte reh jaoge. Pot holes on road or road between potholes. There is one office on the main entrance of the colony - Pollution Control Board. Still it cant see the lots of pollution due to dust and dirts on the roads and roadsides of the colony. The colony is a swing between the Nagar Nigam & MP Housing Board. Nobody is there to take responsibility. The dig the road for water supply & sewage pipeline. And after that who cares for the road. Similar is the law & order situation. Bhind Morena ka hi kanoon chalta hai. I once asked someone - Dont they follow the rules (kanoon). The reply was - Woh niyam aur kanoon to mante hain, par niyam kanoon bhi khud ke banaye hote hain.
So in my opinion, it is the worst place to be selected for living peacefully.
